Challenge
Erno Hannink and Ramon Fincken from Klarned have known each other for over ten years. They first met at the annual WordPress meetup at S2M in Utrecht—an event where people interested in WordPress come together to share knowledge.
Erno wasn’t a Klarned customer at the time, until Ramon helped him out of a tight spot. Erno had grown dissatisfied with his current provider, who lacked a service-oriented approach and charged too much for what they offered. He realized how important personal contact is when it comes to hosting.
There were data (storage) issues that required assistance, but his then-hosting provider could only be contacted via email or chat during weekdays. Being an American company, response times were significantly delayed.
